2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.

vs. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

A stronghold is a thought that holds you hostage. 

vs. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

BI: Your life is always moving in the direction of your strongest thoughts.

Proverbs 23:7, For as he thinks within himself, so he is.

1. Identify the number-one lie that keeps you hostage.

2. Name the truth that sets you free. 

John 8:31-32 “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Romans 12:2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
